Dr Serge Afonso is the sole principal practice owner of Open Wide Dental Leeming, establishing and opening the doors to his first patient in 2003.

Serge graduated in 1997 from the University of Western Australia (UWA). He received several prizes during his undergraduate studies including “Best Student” and the prize in Preventative Dentistry.

Since graduation, Serge has gained extensive dental experience regularly attending post graduate courses in Australia and internationally. He is proficient in all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in preventative dentistry and minimal intervention restorative techniques (saving tooth structure), cosmetic dentistry and complex crown, bridge and implant rehabilitation.

He is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and has previously served on the HBF Dental Consultative Committee.

Serge is passionate about developing strong patient/family relationships whilst delivering state of the art dentistry in a personalised, stress-free environment.
